Melanie Robitaille fell in love with photography as a teenager during the age of film and has captured the world through her lens as a beloved past time for over 25 years. What began as an artistic hobby, matured with her through high school photography courses, editorial photography as a journalist, nature and urban landscape photography as a Graphic Designer, and finally blossomed into the MWORDS Photography venture you see today.

Quest Art member and recent OSA 149th Open Juried Exhibition finalist, Melanie was born and raised in Peel Region, making the move to Perkinsfield, ON seven years ago with her husband and two children to reconnect with her deep family roots and the abundance of nature in the North Simcoe area. Chances are you’ve already visited her home studio, happened upon her booth at a local event, or found her strolling the shores of Georgian Bay, camera in hand, capturing the everyday magnificence of her new home.
